Teen, 14 years old Written by Meow October 22, I'm sorry for saying that, but why do all Disney original movies have to be terrible? They need to put more effort into their movies. Kid, 12 years old August 24, This movie is one of my fave movies and debby Ryan is my favorite actress and she is a great rolemodel for kids and tweens.

Kid, 8 years old July 27, She starts to blow most of them out. They did mostly good for her. But soon Abby gets to one that she never wanted. And It Obvilously didn't do good for her. Now she has to redo all of her wishes by midnight. She realizes that she can take the picture off and put on the very first picture at the beginning of the day But it is a minute to midnight so she blows out the last candle and it starts the hole day over.
Good movie with positive messages that means popularity isn't everything. Kid, 8 years old July 23, Teen, 14 years old Written by AlinaW. July 17, Good "moral movie", but a bit boring and lacking of a detailed plot! This was a great movie in terms of good messages and positive role models. Abby learned that things like "cool clothes", her own car, and being popular don't bring happiness like good friends and family do, and after her experience with the candles realizes that her life is pretty good the way it was, and does things like works out her problems with her enemy and works together with her to make her best friend the student body president.
However, Abby was acting pretty spoiled at the beginning of the movie, slamming the door in her parent's face when they baked her a birthday cake, etc. It did teach some good lessons, but I found it pretty boring because it lacked a lot of suspense or a intresting plot in general. I also find movies like this confusing if they don't think of everything when someone jumps ahead from 16 to 22 years old.
It just didn't seem like they put much effort into making the movie completely logical like I would have expected from Disney. It was a good "moral movie" though and I recommend it for older kids and tween girls, some teens may even enjoy it.
Parents will love it for the positive messages, so it's a home run for younger kids! Teen, 13 years old Written by hugeonepiecefan1 July 13, Never ever watch this movie I absoulutely hate this movie. The glamorized highshcool sets a bad example for all ages. I also hate the way this movie portrays women.

In pretty much all cases, current Disney fare walks the fine line between charming and cheesy. The good stuff e. High School Musical, Wizards of Waverly Place stay charming, while the others descent into contrived silliness.
In this case, the storyline is just too predictable to ever really suck you in. On a more positive note, the acting in this film is very watchable. The "villain" of the story is way too over-the-top, but other than that the characters are quite well done. Basically, this is a flick for younger children no questionable material and the earliest of pre- teens. Viewers of any older age will realize the silliness and tune out before reaching the finale.
